I did not have time to whip somethin up this moring before work so, I decided go with old reliable, hashbrown, sausage, egg, cheese, biscuit. AKA number 4 add cheese, at your local golden arches. To wash that all down, I went with a meduim unflavored iced coffee.
Now normally I try and stear clear of your fast food eateries due to quality and the threat of looming obesity, but occationally I will find a fast food joint thats practices quality control and me being a picture of fitness, I make exceptions. Be easy, Chief.

Cilantro-Chipotle Tilapia. Off the chain.
So I skimped on lunch today cause I was in the zone, moving and playing some COD. Not a good excuse for missing a meal right, so I decided to totally redeem myself at dinner. I wish I could take credit for this easy, quick, mouth watering recipe, but I have to give the credit to my genius smart phone with this awesome smart app. called, Epicurious. What will those nerds come up with next. So I have tried this recipe before, I did not have all the right tools(blender) but I decided to go hard anyway, and I failed hard. Failure was not an option this time, I got my blender.
So for this little number you will need 2 tilapia fillets, 1 and half cups of cilantro, 3/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper(fresh ground rookie), 2 tablespoons veggy oil, 1 tablespoon water, 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, and last but certainly not least, 1 chipotle pepper canned with sauce. But if you wanna go hard and feel the burn, make it 2 chipotle peppers Utah.
Alright so now take all your ingredients that are not a white flaky fish and toss them into your chopper, blender, pureer, whatever you want to call it and blend, and blend, and blend, thats it and blend till you got yourself a nice smooth whatever. Slather your fish.
Once you've slathered to your liking, place your fish on some foil that you have on a cooking sheet. O ya pre-heat your oven this aint kindergarten, broil, rack 4 to 5 inches from top. Now put your fish pan into the oven for 6 to 9 min, my fish cooked for 7. Remove
Conclusion, I did not have anything else to cook with this meal so I grabbed a few white corn tortillas, butter, stove, BOOM. This meal, was of the chain. Spicy, tons of flavor, easy E, will def be making it again. For next time I will probable add some fresh lemons to squeeze on there to really blow my mind. Redeemed. Keep it real.
Beef and Eggs. Get some.
So this will be my first official post, for the original reasoning, behind the blogs purpose, thats confusing. Breakfast, started this morning off the best way I know how, actually the second best way I know how, with a soy latte. Made by my magically delicious , smokin hot lady, Natty.
I also like to start my day with a hearty breakfast, so I dove into the fridge and pulled out 2 eggs, leftover sausage and brisket from Mo's in Houston, Tx, and butter. I used a 12" pain(nonstick) and turned it up to 41/2 threw some butter and 2 pieces of italian white bread, which has become my new bread of choice. I toasted them on one side, meanwhile I microed my brisket and sausage for 1 min. Once the bread was done, I pilled on the sausage, added some diced white onion, some sliced pickles, and topped it all off with fan favorite French's yellow sterd.
Now for my brisket and eggs. Yes I said brisket and eggs, legit. Cracked my 2 eggs with some butter in my pan and cooked them over easy or half and half as I like to call it, best of both worlds. Once they were done, I laid the brisket down and put my perfectly cooked eggs over the top. To garnish it, I put seas salt and put the grind to my pepper and for a little heat, I add my TIO JESSY salsa habanero, found at my local hispanic meat market, and it was time to grubb.
All in, in all I was very please. I started with the sandwich as an appetizer and saved the best for last, brisket eggs. If I where to do it again I would prob just have the brisket and eggs and save the sandwich for a snack later, i got a little carried away for my first meal. Lucky today is my day off and i am currently in the moving process so I will need my GoPower.
So this is my first blog, not really sure where I'm going with it or even its purpose but if you happen to read it sweet and ill check you later.

Blog One- reason for blog.
My reasoning for this blog is simple, to document and discuss what goes into my mouth on a daily basis. For as long as I can remember I have had a fasination with food and now its more of an obsession. My favorite parts of the day are breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My daily routine revolves around awesome and some not so awesome things going into my mouth. I have a few simple rules that I like follow when it comes to food. One- the age old arguement Quality vs. Quantity, I want both, son. Two- Don't discriminate, its all good baby. Three - Hot with heat, hot with spice, i wanna sweet. Four - i'll take this quote from my dad " hey wife this meal is really good but do you know what would make it even better ......" mom didnt like it, but it taught me a valuble lesson. Five- Go hard! not really about food, just a life motto.
You will also notice many grammar and spelling errors throughout my blogs.
1. Take your self-righteous intellect and shove it.
2. Go back to first grade and sound that s**t out.
